Product Description The UIP Rod Seal is a one-way, U-shaped rod seal with an asymmetrical design that keeps dirt out to protect the rod. The inner diameter of the seal has a shortened lip which increases the cross-sectional area. This seal is both an excellent dynamic as well as static seal. Product Description The UNP2 Rod Seal is a one-way, U-shaped rod seal has two symmetrical sealing lips. They are designed to fit the small grooves within hydraulic cylinders of limited space. The second sealing lip provides additional protection, keeping dust and other contaminants from entering the front sealing lip. This helps to protect the mechanism, and prolongs the service life of the cylinder. The UNP2 Rod Seal performs well in lower pressure settings. This kind of seal is perfect for fork-lifts, injection molding machines, agricultural equipment, and so on. Product Description The UIB3 Rod Seal is a seal that has two parts. There is a primary and secondary ring. The secondary ring provides additional cushioning and back-up support due to the pressures from the pistons. The primary ring is a PU seal and the secondary back-up ring is nylon. The inner diameter lip (of the primary ring) is designed with small gaps that reduce the back pressure, and prevent pressure accumulation inside the seal. This design protects the seal so that it can continue to protect the cylinder. The UIB3 Rod Seal set is always used in a sealing system in combination with U-shaped rod seal (e.g. UIP).
